Busy Girls

We apologize for the ridiculously long period of time without any updates or new pictures. We have been very busy attending parties and more showers (Thanks again to the Denmark staff and the Rump/Delaney family and friends for the lovely showers), visiting more elementary schools (HTC West Point, and Richardson) (We were Grandma Patti's show and tell in her Bright Beginnings classroom), going on outings with Miss Mia, meeting new friends and family, planning our upcoming baptism party, and going to our 2 month doctors appointment. The doctor said that we both weighed about 10 pounds, and we are both measuring within the average range for our age. And we have even gained about another pound since then! So we are pretty excited about that. Mommy has been trying to take pictures of us with new visitors when they come, but she forgot to take a picture of us with our friends Ronnie Dunlay and Robin, who came all the way from San Diego (aka La Jolla) to visit us. Hopefully we will see them when they come back later this summer and be able to sufficiently document the event this time :) So here are the pictures that mommy has taken her sweet time uploading. Some of them are out of order, but she did her best in the rare moments of spare time she has...

Addison in the midst of her reoccurring dream of flying through the rain forest :)

Avery chillin' in her tubby

Hanging out with mommy on her first Mother's Day. We got mommy a really pretty hydrangea, cause daddy said that was her favorite flower, and that it was the kind of flower they had in their wedding :)

Here we are with Auntie Danielle on one of her many Sunday visits.
You want us to do what mommy? Go to bed? You must be joking! We are far too wide awake to even consider such a silly idea!
Strollin' down the sidewalk in downtown FM with our bestest friend Miss Mia
We had to bring our mommies along cause Mia doesn't have her driver's license yet, but she should be getting one pretty soon.

We popped in to The Wild Whisk for coffee, but not even the caffeine could keep us awake :) He we are posing for a pre-party picture.
Practicing our dance moves before we go partying at our cousin Katherine's graduation party. She just graduated from Holy Trinity and is going to be going to St. Ambrose in the fall. Congratulations Katherine! After we went to Katherine's party, we went to Philip's graduation party. He is one of daddy's soccer players at Central Lee, and our friends Chad and Mindy's brother.
This is my Auntie Danielle again who is soon to be my God Mommy
Enjoying a brief relaxing moment in our bouncers.
Attending graduation parties is absolutely exhausting!

We got to be the center pieces at our cousin Kelly's graduation party. She just graduated from Luther college. Congratulations Kelly!
He is Great Aunt Becky feeding Avery. She is an ADPi, just like mommy!
Getting ready to head to Great Uncle Carl and Great Aunt Sue's house!
Uncle Dane's first visit since we came home from the hospital. He loves to make faces and talk really loud, and is always willing to help feed us, and change our diapers.

This is us with our friend Brian Boyle. He will be more willing to hold us when we have better head and neck control. We can't wait till we get a little bigger so we can use the awesome towels he gave us with our names embroidered on the back! Thank you Brian!

" Addison, I smell something. Was that you or me?" "I'm not sure Avery. Let's just blame it on Beans."
Here we are with our friend Brian "Santi" Santiago. He hasn't really ever held a baby before, but he was very brave and held both of us at the same time.

Addison was infatuated with Brian. She stared and smiled at him for a long time.
We attended our first beer party at Ryan's house a.k.a. "RumpShakers." He was kind enough to turn down the tunes a bit while we were there. We had to leave pretty early cause it was past our bed time, but we heard it got really wild after we left.
Here we are with Uncle Andy and his friend Megan. This is our first time meeting Uncle Andy cause he lives all the way in L.A. We're not exactly sure where that is, but mommy and daddy told us it would be a much longer car ride than going from Fort Madison to Burlington, so it must be very far away. Mommy and daddy also told us that we had been in L.A. last summer, but they didn't know we were with them cause we were just teeny tiny little bundles in mommy's tummy :)
Addison and her soon to be God Father. Uncle Andy is joining the Navy soon, but hopefully he will be home for a while before he has to go for training so we can hang out with him some more.
This is Avery and Uncle Andy's friend (and mommy and daddy's friend) Garrett. He is best described as being a "High Energy" individual! He might be moving to Fort Madison from New Mexico soon, so we may be able to see him more often.
Here we are at our favorite restaurant, "The Ivy," with our friend Miss Sue. We are anxiously awaiting for our teeth to come in so we can enjoy the delicious food we see mommy and daddy eating when we go there.
These are our friends, Erik and Sarah. They came from Davenport to see us, and will also be coming back later this summer so we can play some more!
