36 weeks down, Hopefully only one more to go!

At mommy's last appointment on Friday, March 21st, the doctor indicated that if we don't send her into labor before next Friday, then she will be induced and the RumpTwins will finally be making our long awaited debut. We should both be over five pounds, but if you ask mommy she feels like we weigh twice that much ; ) So here is the last prego pick of mommy before we arrive.

J5 Surprise Shower Pics

Another special thank you to our Aunties Lizabeth, Joni, Danielle, Shella, Emma, Grammie Mary, and our friend Miss Mia, for our surprise shower, as well as to our friends Isabella and Eliana who were unable to attend cause they were hanging out with their daddy. It sounded like it was a fun filled day, and we can tell you for sure that all of the food was super scrumptious! It made us even more excited to come out and meet our mommy's J5 friends.







This is us with Miss Mia. She has already become our mentor, because she is almost 7 months old and knows everything there is to know about everything, particularly about being a baby : )

Daddy's First Baby Shower

A special thanks again to Jane and Mindy for throwing us a couples shower, and to all those who attended. We can't wait to have the girls try out all their new gear as soon as daddy figures out what it is and how to use it : )

New Ultrasound and Belly Pics at 32 weeks

Here are some more fuzzy pics of the babies. The top of Baby A's head is to the right of the frame, and the top of Baby B's head is to the left of the frame. Hopefully their faces are more well defined when they are actually born :) The Doctor said that based on the ultra sound measurements, which aren't exact, one weighs approximately 3 lbs. 12 oz, and the other weighs approximately 4 lbs. 12oz, and that I am measuring full term if I were only carrying one. However, they want me to make it to at least March 20th, which would be 36 weeks (average for twins).

25 weeks and 3 days

Shy Rumps

Unfortunately the RumpTwins were being shy during their second public appearance as well as their first. Baby A, had the cord between its legs and Baby B had its legs crossed and tucked up, so their sex continues to remain a mystery. We should be having another ultra sound at the end of January. Hopefully they won't be too big to tell and will be more cooperative. However, we did get a pretty good picture of Baby B's little mug. The important thing is that they are growing at the expected rate and their little hearts are beating within normal limits. So all is well.
